The watercolors blend into something intangible.
We are frightened
and have forgotten how to breathe.
My back aches.
I can’t stop the bleeding.
Your eyes are vacant now.
All the feeling has stopped
and you keep trying to swallow the stars.
Hoping to digest their poisonous atmospheres.
You jump and reach
simply falling to Earth over and over again.
You dance to the horizon
and I’m convinced that all of this fighting was in vain.
