Black Swan Arts are inviting submissions for the 2012 Biennial Open Arts Competition and Exhibition, which runs from 10th February to 31st March 2012.
The Black Swan Open Arts Competition is run bi-annually and encompasses a diverse range of fine and digital arts, including painting, sculpture, prints, and photography. The Open attracts some of the best contemporary artists and makers working in the UK, and in 2010 over 500 entries from across the South West were submitted. The Competition is judged by leading fine arts practitioners, prizes range in value up to £1000, with the People's Choice Award voted for by the public. A maximum of 3 images can be submitted, and all entries must be for sale. All fine art disciplines are welcome, including digital media but not applied art.
