Josefin Rasmuson is a 28 year old artist, graduated from the Gerrit Rietveld Academie. She is originally from Sweden but currently residing in the Netherlands. Her work centres around public space and human interrelations, and ranges from drawing to site specific sound installations. Sagy Zwirn is an Israeli grad student working on a thesis about Dostoyevsky in Tel Aviv University. He has written two novels and a major theatre has put his play on their waiting list for production.

Bob Nimmo is a published children’s writer from New Zealand. His poetry derives from the area in which he lives and he firmly believes that our environment often reflects the people we are and the problems we face. Yet the resolution is equally apparent in that which surrounds us.

 

Abdulrazaq Awofeso is a Nigerian Artist residing in Johannesburg, South Africa. He’s had several shows locally and internationally with several works in private and public collections around the world.

Nadia Russ was born in the Ukraine, ex-USSR. In 1979 she moved to Moscow. Her 1st group art exhibition was in the famous Manege, near Red Square in Moscow. Since 2000, she has lived in the USA.  In 2003, she announced a new style of visual arts – NeoPopRealism. Vincenzo Pandolfi was born in Terracina, Italy in 1971. he has a degree in Film History at the University “La Sapienza”, Roma and a diploma in film-making at the New York Film Academy. ‘Forgotten Wars’ is a reflection on the differences between the real war and the one we know from the TV news, where soldiers looked like actors from an old doc, made not of flesh and blood, but cartoon like images, made of pixels!

 

Sophie Gibson is an artist living and working in the North West of England.  She graduated last year with a degree in Fine Art. She is now a member of the Art Bunker, and also volunteers with young people.

Natalia Ludmila’s work is based on photographic material she gathers all over (from music festivals, while on holidays). Later she extracts what she finds the most interesting and makes a drawing of it. Park rebel in particular caught her attention because the subject seems to have a very nonchalant attitude but at the same time there is a certain fragility about him.

 

New York glass artist, Joseph Cavalieri is working with Robert Crumb, to produce a series of stained glass panels. The first was produced during Cavalieri’s three month residency at the Museum of Arts and Design in Manhattan. Cavalieri has been working for over 10 years in painted stained glass, and is best know for his Simpson’s “Missing Episode” series, where members of this TV program are being killed in stained glass. R.L. Gibson is a thirty-something artist and happily-married mother of one working and “living on vacation” on top of a mountain in the US with work in galleries from New York to Texas. Gibson works almost exclusively as a xerographist. She also edits the popular art blog ArtAndArtDeadlines.com

Stefan Bleekrode has been working as a self-taught artist since 2004, travelling Europe and the US regularly in search for inspiration. Urban scenery is the prime subject in many of his pictures. Often these images convey a mood of contemplation and solitude. Currently he works in water-colour and egg tempera whilst his cityscape drawings are usually executed in ink.

Julie Ball’s work explores the use of digital microscopic photography. The irony and humour she injects into the work is her way of dealing with the more serious ‘bits and pieces’ in life and often takes the form of poetry which connects with the art.‘Navigational Error’ is a silk screen print of a microscopic image of a dead insect removed from the surface of her car following a journey.

Lotte Teussink is a 28-year-old Dutch visual artist, living and working in Rotterdam. Her work consists of drawings and paintings, taking peaceful scenery of eg. a house, a car and a clothes-line, and alienating it by using awkward colours, forms and placing. For the series called Grave Expectations she took various different small drawings from her dummy and made it into one, almost like a collage. Erik Vink lives and works in ‘s-Hertogenbosch, The Netherlands. He performs worldwide with the international street theatre group Close Act and creates big, realistic oil paintings on linen. He chooses his subjects from common media such as newspapers. He isolates them from their environment using extreme framing and no backgrounds. Spike Dennis trained at the distinguished Wimbledon School of Art, London. He has been creating, painting, sticking, drawing and inventing since the great summer of nineteen eighty something. Ankan Kazi is doing an exchange programme at Sciences-Po, Paris from Delhi University, India where he was reading English Literature.

Simon Leyland is a man who fell from grace and is currently living in a small cottage in the west of Ireland

Lemeh42 is a couple of Italian artists formed in 2007 who work with digital animation and illustration. Their works have been presented at and awarded by the major festivals of videoart and animation worldwide. In 2009 Lemeh42 won the Italian Iceberg Prize and represented their country at the European Biennal of Young Artists in Skopje, Macedonia. Nathan Anderson is a visual artist and filmmaker. He is a graduate of the Minneapolis College of Art and Design and currently resides in Los Angeles where he co founded the film production company Lullskull Ltd with his two partners. His most current visual work involves clay board drawings that can take up to three weeks to complete and utilize non traditional mark making tools, such as knives and screws.
