Little Trinkets – pretty handmade jewellery from @Little_trinkets

Little Trinkets is a new jewellery design studio that has been selling handmade jewellery and accessories since early 2012. Their designs range from casual to quirky and elegant to vintage. Each product is carefully handmade, ensuring that the final product will be something you will cherish. As Flaneur’s style editor I received a parcel of jewellery just before Christmas – a lovely early Christmas present! Below is a review of my favourite pieces.

The package arrived elegantly packed and a lot of thought had obviously gone into the presentation. Necklaces were in little bags and earrings were presented on a beautiful small card that had a vintage feel to it. The Scrabble necklace was delightful. Made of wood and the size of a scrabble piece it was both witty and fun and pleasant to hold. As a Scrabble lover I found this design very appealing, although people I played against complained that I was about to take it off and use it in the game! It has a good length chain and is a great necklace for crossword and word lovers. It would make an ideal present.

I also received these beautiful big stud earrings which have an antique feel, the pale purple fabric embroidered with a butterfly motif. They are like buttons for your ears. Very pretty indeed. These are great if you like big studs, and at over 1 cm in diameter they are some of the biggest I have worn. There is another clock design stud on the website that is a fun alternative.

Another delight was the bird wrap bracelet on a purple suede band – an attractive contemporary design. However, I prefer to wear mine as a necklace. I suppose you could wear it as either, depending on how you felt. Again, great as a gift for someone else or a treat for yourself.

Thanks very much to Sarah at Little Trinkets for sending these samples to The Flaneur for review. She says that she hopes to branch out further and introduce new lines and collections, as well as expanding her range of products in order to accommodate various crafts. Little Trinkets also take custom orders if you want to order a one-off piece of jewellery, which would be a great way to get a unique present. We look forward to seeing the new directions Little Trinkets takes in 2013.
