Want to see some films, both new and classic? Want to pay nowt for the privilege? Try the 2014 Camberwell Free Film Festival which runs from 20-30 March 2014. Every event is free! Last year’s inaugural Camberwell Free Film Festival was a huge success. 1,750 people went to 15 events in 14 venues over 11 days. The 2014 festival is promising to be even better.
Held in venues around SE5, many of the films have live music afterwards. Evenings that look particularly good include Tango Negro at he Cambria, Charlie Chaplin shorts with live piano accompaniment and a family matinee of Oliver!
Get to the venues early it’s going to be packed!
