Crufts, the World’s largest dog show is starting tomorrow in Birmingham but if you cannot make it don’t fret. Graffik gallery, the street art gallery in Notting Hill is presenting Grufts, an urban art alternative with representatives of all the best doggy artworks in the capital.
Teddy Baden, Eoghan Ebrill, Christian Palmer, Funky Red Dog, TeeWat, Katie Hampson, Jason Busk, Fallen Empire and Charleen Eade are all showing work, as is Paint my Panda, a painting project focusing on the positive sides of graffiti. You can even take photos of your dog along and commission an artist to paint his portrait. Graffik Gallery is a vibrant urban contemporary arts gallery designed with exhibiting street arts in mind.
With Graffik Gallery’s mission being to promote graffiti as an art form this exhibition helps make the case that street art is now the most influential art movement of the past 30 years.
