Child sponsorship is one of the best ways to help development overseas. Research by Dr Bruce Wydick has discovered that “of all the long-term development interventions, child sponsorship receives the highest rating”. Of course other interventions such as providing clean water also receive a high rating, but child sponsorship was given the highest score of all the long term strategies.

Your sponsorship does not just involve money. You will exchange letters, photos and encouragement with the child. You will also be helping to provide food and clean water, medical care, educational opportunities and life-skills.
