Curious Duke Gallery presents Wayfarer and the big London Magni hunt! From 4th April they will be hiding 6 pieces of London Magni by Tannaz Oroumchi over 3 days. The inky black limited edition print will be dotted around the map’s focal points of London Bridge and St. Paul’s Cathedral. And do not worry, each piece of the architectual print will be hidden in black envelopes protected against the elements.
This find entitles you to champagne and canapes on the 15th April 2013 from 6-9 at the Curious Duke Gallery on Whitecross Street.
This piece is one part of a much larger print, so come along to the gallery on the 15th April with your piece of the map and reunite the pieces. You can decide whether you wish to donate it back to the art work to complete the piece, or keep your separate pieces. If the piece is reunited as a whole, you could be in with a chance of winning the finished map!
Tannaz Oroumchi takes on London to expose the well worn streets in favour of breaking architectural rules. The cosmopolitan knot of streets are emphasised to reveal social responsibility, created to break “visual idealisms, allowing the possibility for others to be revealed”. Reinvented London for re-engagement.
Wayfarer will be exhibiting at Curious Duke Gallery from the 28th March– 19th April 2013.
