“We Steal Secrets: The Story of Wikileaks” is a documentary about Wikileaks that opens today in the US. The film was made by director/producer Alex Gibney without the cooperation of Wikileaks. Wikileaks says that the film is full of errors and has released a line-by-line reply to the transcript which aims to show where these errors are.

Wikileaks says that the very title We Steal Secrets is false and gives examples of selective editing. Two more films on the same subject will be released soon. One by Laura Poitras and another co-produced by Ken Loach’s 16 films.
