Following two hugely successful solo shows in recent years, “Megan and the Burobbu Boutique” will see Tom taking over a space in BOXPARK, Shoreditch from 4th October to 24th December (with more that a little help from those mysterious pink blobs, The Burobbu).
Fizzle Drizzle by Tom Lewis
This mini show is a playful sneaky peak into the future wandering of Tom’s mind, as the colourful small scale sketches hint at themes which will appear in his glorious 2014 show. Following the initial show, from November the box will be transformed into a Burobbu Boutique, showcasing sculptures, paintings, prints, posters and a plethora of other goodies.
Blending elements of ancient mythology, traditional oriental design and contemporary street art, Tom’s style is unique and instantly recognisable. Each piece adds to the epic patchwork narrative that exists inside his head, tip toeing the line between logical meaning and beautiful nonsensical chaos.
