Boat race sponsors BNY Mellon are inviting art and design students across the country to enter a prize competition to design the front cover of the race-day programme for the 2015 BNY Mellon Boat Races. Entrants will be required to design a cover that celebrates The BNY Mellon Boat Race and the Newton Women’s Boat Race being held on the same day over the same course for the first time in history on Saturday April 11, 2015.
The challenge is open to student artists and designers aged 16 to 19. The winning designer will receive a cash prize of £1,000 and two days’ work experience at the Royal Academy Schools. Their school or college will receive vouchers to the value of £250 to be put towards supplies for their art or graphics department.
