Technically, there are a plethora of jean brands, but it’s official that white flags need to be waved immediately. Upon recognizing the signature “winged” jeans that have been seen on celebrities and fashionistas alike, it’s mandatory that a portion of sartorial surrender to these winning jeans, be dedicated to some additional praise.
According to the fashion savvy, it’s hard not to love Robin’s Jean. The jeans have stolen hearts in approximately 800 specialty stores and continue to win fashion insiders over time and time again in major stores like Kitson, Fred Segal, Atrium, LULU and E Street Denim. Major retail partners include Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom, Bloomingdales and Neiman Marcus. To say, international distributor’s have a soft spot for the brand too. Marie Claire/Belgium, Brigitte B/St. Tropez, Harvey Nichols/Hong Kong, and Saks Fifth Avenue/Dubai retailers simply cannot get enough of the particularly fresh and exciting brand.
Aside from the fashion business community at-large, fashion community queens such as Alicia Keys , Kim Kardashian and Selita Ebanks have been invariably obsessed with everything designer Robin Chretien
has created for Robin’s Jeans. With Men’s, Women’s , and Kid’s product lines that upgrade the stylized look with functional statement pieces that whisper luxury, it’s no wonder that this Los Angeles label is in high demand and receives such popularity.
“To make a women feel sexy, yet comfortable, as if she were in her own skin that is the goal of Robins’ Jean. It’s all in the fit. I have designed this product with French influences on sensuality and quality, but with the heart and soul of American denim.” – Robin Chretien.
All in all, these jeans are love at first sight. The reason to be completely smitten lays not only on the design but the designer behind it all.
As a big dreamer from an artistic household, Chretein was intrigued by airplanes, flight and the freedom of the blue sky. Therefore, he began to spread his creative wings into the denim industry paying close attention to fabrics, washes, and detail. Soaring into denim fashion realities, he designed for Blue Cult and Hudson Jeans which soon lead to his 2005 dream of producing a product that reflected the passions of his childhood dreams.
In 2005, the Robin’s Jean brand introduced the world to flattering cuts, exquisite washes, intricate details, interesting stitching, embroidery and novel allure. With an additional passion for motorcycles, vintage cars and old school cinema, Chretien does rocker-chic and edgy to the tee by emulating when men used to ride motorcycles while women were reveled in sexy banter. With having the effect of simply amaze-ing and excite-ing onlookers, the high quality and classic cuts of the jeans exude a sex appeal that also function effectively with comfort, construction and distinction.
“Wearing a pair of Robin’s Jean makes you feel alive, free, spontaneous and able to do anything you put your heart and soul into” says Chretien.
Immensely talented, Robin Chretien’s proclivity for designing closet-favorites makes all of his jeans highly desirable standout pieces that make the world want to shop themselves silly. With such well-established fashion talent, who could blame Tinsletown’s favorites and stylesetters alike that have created their own stash of Robin’s Jeans that create a winning combination of rebel-chic and au current.
