Boozy Bottomless Brunches at @BandHBuildings, Clerkenwell?

From the time when the hunting parties at England’s country piles, too tired to face an early breakfast, but far too peckish to wait for the luncheon gong decided to create a brand new mealtime, brunch has always had a luxurious, decadent and slightly playful reputation.

Bourne & Hollingsworth Buildings, Clerkenwell’s relaxed all-day hang-out, salutes brunch’s reputation as breakfast’s adventurous older sister, with a brand new weekend brunch offering that is all about combining the languid with the playful.

Available from 10am- 4pm Saturday and Sunday, the B & H Brunch combines fresh English dishes with delicious bottomless cocktails, creating a relaxed party atmosphere with a faded stately grandeur backdrop of open fires, trailing plants and light filled spaces.

The brunch menu features quintessentially English options such as Eggs Benedict and Eggs Royale alongside Drop Scones, Bubble & Squeak, crumpets and preserves. Not known to shy away from cocktails, B & H Buildings are offering a selection of fresh, replenishing brunch cocktails and free refills on classics such as the Bellini and the Bloody Mary.

Brunchers can catch up on news in the buzzy café area, lounge by the open fire with the weekend papers, perch up at the bar or bask in natural beauty in the serene greenhouse. As brunch is the new lunch and dinner, those looking to celebrate a birthday or anniversary can book out The Bottle Room for day-time shenanigans. The cocktail bar, which occupies the sunny west-facing side of the building, opens onto the street and the leafy park beyond via huge windows and doors – perfect for when the weather picks up, but even in March the sun streams in.
