Cork Street’s bereft of style right at the mo,
more building work than galleries you’ll see.
But there’s an exhibition should make you go,
thick oil impasto, a vibrant esprit.
J. Bailey sloshes on the paint.
Then scrapes it off. Then adds it on again.
His colours bold, the greens show no restraint.
Enthusiastic, bold, none of the pain,
that echoes unfortunately through life.
Go see what’s done with Bailey’s palette knife.
