Cheap Cuts is a short documentary festival interested in the stories filmmakers have to tell and not the budget or equipment used to do so. The screenings are FREE of charge and they help winning filmmakers to make industry connections and to find new ways of distributing their work.
With a successful first year of sold out screenings and workshops they are now venturing into a 3 day event full of short documentaries from all over the world, discussion panels on current social issues and practical workshops. They’ll be screening over 40 documentaries, many of them premieres, with a real mix of subject and styles.
