Waiting for Godot

Nothing happens over the book. Nothing comes, nothing goes. Only a dialogue that seems to lead to something… one moment, now… no, sorry, I thought that something was happening, but not. Not yet.
Samuel Beckett wrote Waiting for Godot in the 40’s and it was published in the 50. His intention was that the characters reflect the passing of life and boredom of it was a success, we can say.
The two main characters,Vladimir and Estragon, waiting for days for Godot, that never arrives. Some have theorized that Godot is God in the book, and Pozzo, character of the second act  entertains them until Godot arrives.
It is an entertaining book, but nothing happens. Apparently, because time is passing while nothing happens. At the end we think if we are also waiting for something to happen, something that never comes … Who or what is this Godot that we are waiting for?
