trembling

beauty is the rain

falling on puddles

making perfect circles

at our feet

timid is the mouse

hiding in the kitchen

whiskers twitching

in the shadows

soft is the dog

sleeping on a cushion

a patch of darkness

on the bright cloth of day

and happy are the children

playing in the garden

bright flowers

trembling under the pale blue sky

  1. Enjoyable.
This is very simply written, but still somewhat powerful. Reading it just makes me think of home. At first I thought of my current home (my apartment), perhaps lazily sitting indoors while the rain falls outside my window. Then as I read on, I began to think of home with my family, and then scenes of my childhood.
